形态描述
体长，侧扁，自胸鳍基至肛门具腹棱。头小，吻钝。眼大，位低。口亚下位。须4对，均长，鼻须伸至背鳍起点之前；上颌须达臀鳍基底中点之后；2对下颌须超过腹、臀鳍起点。背、胸鳍刺后缘具细锯齿。胸鳍尖长，后伸超过腹鳍起点；腹鳍短小；臀鳍基甚长；脂鳍极小。
生物学
A schilbeid catfish, body elongate and compressed, with a keel from the breast to the anus, the spines of the dorsal and pectoral fins serrate. This fish is found in the Lancangjiang River.
